Well young Blaze seems to be on something of a winning streak right now as today at the Hebden Bridge Open Show he once again was awarded Best Puppy in Breed, following this by beating kennelmate Honey for the Best of Breed award under judge Mr David Stirling.

After a couple of hours snoozing he came out of his crate yawning and stretching and not a hair out of place - he must have looked the part as he managed to catch the eye of judge Miss Julie Potter (Rheinvelt) who kindly picked him out for her Best Puppy in Show.

Blaze turned eleven months a few days ago, and has been quite lightly shown until recently  - but seems to be finishing his puppy career on quite a high note.

He told us he was starving when we got home, after no breakfast this morning, and has just demolished two chicken carcasses.  Now after a quick romp with sister Diva - who stayed at home and missed his company! - he's catching up on his sleep again.

Very tiring life being a show dog......!
