Blaze has had a busy couple of days!

On Thursday evening he had his first experience of staying in a Travelodge, in preparation for his outing to the Manchester Ch Show at Stafford the next day.  He did have big sister Ellie with him for guidance, and she is very cool and knows the ropes, so he got the hang of it OK, and thoroughly enjoyed himself.

He was a bit naughty in the ring, distracted by the dog behind and not paying attention, so was we thought lucky to get a card at all, but succeeded in picking up the reserve place in a good Puppy Dog class.  He settled down well later in the day, and snoozed on his bench for a while before walking round the trade stands as if he had been doing it for years.  After a little free run on a handy open space he was more than willing to get in the car and slept all the way home.

Today by way of contrast he went back to see the sheep, and once again showed keenness and speed in the large field.  Moving into a small paddock we aimed for some controlled circling and saw him begin to really think on his feet.

An educational couple of days for our youngster and he is ready for his bed tonight!
