A great day out for all the family, with the usual large variety of events ranging from dog show through sheep dog trials to gymkhana, not forgetting the pipe band and dancers. Under cover there is a pets corner and a marquee with flower arranging , home baking, photography, knitting crafts and home winemking. The children are not forgotten as there is a bouncy castle and other inflatables to keep them occupied. The restaurant is always well patronised and reports of the quality of the food have been good in past years. All in all a great day out for young and not so young - It is advisable to wear stout footwear as this is a country show.

As always, first Saturday in May. The weather was kind to us this year being firm under foot and dry until 4pm - when the heavens opened and brought thiongs to a rapid end. The cattle attracted a lot of intererest, both in thre pens and in the main ring . The sheep dog trials are noe held on a piece of open hillside where the dogs can be viewed at work.
