Neilston Agricultural Show
This is the oldest continuous agricultural show in Scotland, having been run since 1826 - and started originally to solve and argument between two farmers over who had the best bull. It is a good day out for all the family, with something for everybody, young and old alike: cattle, sheep, horses, gymkana, arts and crafts, Baking, winemaking,  pipe band, dancers, restaurant, beer tent and uncle Tom Cobbly and all. Always held on the first Saturday in May - rain or shine.
West of Scotland Winemakers show their wines here and provide National Wine Judges. This is an open show and all entries are welcome. There is a trophy to be won so get your bottles on the show table.
