Our Research
My name is Robert and I am Head of Community Outreach. This means that I research care homes around Forres and Nairn so that all of us can go into care homes and show them how to work an iPad. We go to Culloden Academy and we are aged from 16 to 17. I researched by going on the internet and searching for care homes around Nairn and Forres on Google.
A list of care homes came up and I took down the names and addresses and phone numbers and their web page sites. I wrote all this information down on notes as Word was not working. These notes are on the iPad.

Google Maps - This tells you where all the care homes are in Forres and Nairn.
Story Creator - Use this to create your own story book using text, photos, videos and audio files.
Animoto - Use this to create your own short video using text and photos that you have uploaded.
BBC News - Check on the latest news here.
These are some of the apps we have looked at that we think would be suitable of interest to the older people we are going to visit in care homes in the local area and teach them how to use an iPad.

Hello my name is Rachel Spriggs I am Head of Photography. I take lots of pictures of people in the team, while they are working on the project and download these onto our website. I can use all these photos of the team to download a short video of all the work we have done over 18 weeks by using animoto.
