On Saturday 27th of January the club held a race night in Tongue hotel to raise funds. Around 40 "Punters" arrived for the evenings entertainment with the resident bookmakers doing a sterling job as usual. Betting was swift from the outset and the bookies hint that "the horses go faster the louder you shouted" was taken onboard by all which made for a tremondous atmosphere.The punters were also given a variety of food which was supplied free to keep up their stamina for the long and enjoyable evening ahead.There was also a raffle where the prizes were all donated. So a huge THANKS goes to the following- the MC/Bookie-Stephen Mackay Bookies Babes - Michelle,Carol, Suzanne & Sarah. The Cashier - Richie Mackay Tongue F.C Squad members who all helped throughout the evening. Sarah and the Staff at the Tongue Hotel and all who donated raffle prizes and made the night the success it was. The total sum raised by the night was £875.00
