Drive it Day 2022
The first real attempt at a Drive it day since the pandemic, although a few of us did have a socially distanced run to Glasson in 2021.
The format was that a series of waypoints would be given and the participants would find their own way between them, thus avoiding a convoy situation.
Start was at the Corner House, finish was at the Anchor in Lostock Hall (where a late lunch was served), with waypoints at Martin Mere, Rufford Hall, and the West Lancs Light Railway in Hesketh Bank, where there was a break for a ride on a train and a visit to the workshops.
A total of ten cars took part, including Paul Studdart's Daimler, and Singer Gazelle, Tom Taylor's Morris 10 and Bill Dyke's Traction Avant.
Gathering before setting off at the Corner House.
