Surf club competition postponed

The  Belhaven Bay Surf Club annual competition is due to go ahead this weekend (12th & 13th). However due to a sever lack of surf this has been portponed until next weekend, when there looks like there may be a chance of a swell heading this way

The annual club competition will take place on either 11th or 12th October 2008 at Belhaven Bay, day to be confirmed nearer the time and advised on website, registration at 9:30am.

This is of course subject to any late change in conditions. There are a number of categories from complete beginners through to open surf, as well as longboard and bodyboard. Past years have been super fun with a great mix of abilities. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to join the club to meet like-minded surfers from ALL abilities, to either compete or just to see what’s going on.
