Herding trials

Both Dennis and Winnie are due to take part in a Herding Trial session in Pickering North Yorkshire on Monday 5th October.

Neither of them have seen a sheep before so this could be very interesting considering that when they met a goat a few weeks ago, they both ran for cover!

WELL....my boy was an embarassment! He went into the field rather bravely I thought, and aproached the small group of sheep who were standing in a huddle in the middle of the field. I too was terrifed as i really DO NOT like sheep. wWe stood and followed instructions from the Shepherdess and things seemed to be going nicely unitl one of the sheep decided to move.

Dennis jumped backwards off all fours, looked again, then ran to Daddy who was videoing at the fence. Talk about 2 you've been framed" How utterly funny. We gave him another try an hour or so later but he was more interested in watering the trees! Ah well,I guess my boy prefers herding the kids at the local park.

Winnie didn't go in with the sheep as she was a little too young but she watched eagerly and was possitivly excited to see the wooly creatures. We'll give her a proper trail soon.
