Thank you, thank you! This is the recipe I have used for Christmas cake since I was a child,the best rich fruit cake ever, and I have it in a little handwritten book that I did in the seventies. This year I suddenly can't find the book - panic! But a google search found me this which is 'MY' Grosvenor fruit cake recipe! Have you any idea of its origins?
