Set Free From Christianity
The realisation that Christianity was a false religion hit me like a hammer blow and made me sick in the pit of my stomach. The magnitude of the satanic deception is absolutely huge. You see, Christians are taught from incorrectly translated Bibles and they fail to look beneath this first layer of deception. It is important to look at the original Greek or Hebrew to see what the actual meaning of words are and this is where I highly recommend the Concordant Version of the New Testament. False Christian Beliefs
Twenty years ago our lives changed as we ‘met’ with the Lord Jesus Christ and our lives have never been the same again. As Jesus said in John 6:44, ‘No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him’ and that is definitely what happened to us. Hallelujah for that! As new Christians we were fed on milk but as we have grown with the LORD, He has fed us ‘meat’ (1 Corinthinas 3:2) and revealed more of His truths to us. Many of the things I was told as a new Christian I have rejected as the sad fact is that almost all Christians are deceived and Christian churches do not preach the truths of the Bible. Here are a few examples of what we believe the LORD has shown us:
1. The dead are dead and know nothing.
‘For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten’ (Ecclesiastes 9:5.)
As a Christian I was told that when a person dies he or she, if a believer, goes to be with the Lord, or if not goes to a place of punishment. How many times have you heard it said that, ‘Aunt Betty is in a better place and is looking down on us’. Well, that may comfort people but the fact that the dead know nothing at all is more of a comfort as no guesswork is needed as to which place the dearly departed has ended up. I am not looking forward to the physical aspect of dying, taking my last breath etc but I am encouraged that after I do, my next conscious moment will be seeing Jesus as I and all other believers are resurrected from the dead, and given glorious new, spiritual bodies. You see the Bible tells us that no one has yet ascended to heaven, only Jesus. Everyone else is dead!
‘No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven–the Son of Man.’ (John 3.13).
2. I do not believe that unbelievers will be cast into hell where they will be punished for all eternity. This belief is just not scriptural. The word 'hell' has been used to translate four different words in the Bible, one Hebrew and three Greek, being, Sheol, Hades, Gehenna and Tartarus. Sheol/Hades means the unseen. Gehenna speaks of the ravine of Hinnom on the south side of Jerusalem where the refuse and bodies of dead animals and executed criminals were cast into the fires. Tartarus is the temporary dungeon or prison for sinning messengers or angels, reserved for chastening judgement at the great white throne judgement.(1 Peter 2:4).
The Lake of Fire is eonian (not everlasting) torment for the Wild Beast, the False Prophet and Satan (Un 19:20, 20:10), , and it is the second death for irreverent men – those not found in written in the book of life (Un 20:14,15). And there is no reason to believe that the second death won’t be the same as the first death, i.e. a return to the state of unconsciousness.
The Hell, taught in Christian churches simply does not exist and along with ‘everlasting punishment’ and ‘eternal torment’ cannot be found in the original Scriptures.
3. I do not believe in the trinity doctrine, i.e. the unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three persons in one Godhead. This is one of the central Christian affirmations about God but doesn’t make sense, is not Biblical, and is a doctrine devised by man centuries after Jesus walked this earth as a man. Those who believe the trinity doctrine deny the death of Christ because if He is God, then He couldn’t have died. But He did. For three days Jesus ceased to exist, he was dead until His Father roused Him from the dead. Jesus had the faith to believe that His Father would bring Him back from the dead. If Jesus was in fact God, there wouldn't have been any faith involved because He would have been in control. The Holy Spirit is simply the power of God and not a person with equal standing with the Father and Jesus.
The scripture quoted to prove the trinity is in fact counterfeit and is not found in the earliest translations. 'There are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.' (I John 5:7). False verse!
4. As a Christian I was told that Jesus is God but the Bible tells us clearly that there is only one God, God the Father, out of whom all is, and Jesus is in fact God’s creative original, the firstborn of all creation. He is the son of God.
Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 8:4-7, that there is no other God except One …., and that there is one God, the Father, out of Whom all is'
Jesus is the Son of God.
‘The Father is loving the Son and has given all into His hand’ John 3:35
‘in the last of these days speaks to us in a Son, Whom He appoints enjoyer of the allotment of all, through Whom He also makes the eons;
Who, being the Effulgence of His glory and Emblem of His assumption, besides carrying on all by His powerful declaration’ Hebrews 1:2-3
‘Now, whenever all may be subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also shall be subjected to Him Who subjects all to Him, that God may be All in all’ 1 Corinthians 15:28
Finally, as a Christian, I was told that Jesus’ death on the cross wasn’t sufficient to save mankind, in other words He and His Father failed. This is the false free will doctrine whereby I was told, that to be saved, I had to do something, i.e. accept Him (by saying the sinners' prayer), and it is this that completes the deal. Jesus said, 'It is accomplished!” And reclining His head, He gives up the spirit.' (John 19:30). The truth is that it is 100% accomplished, not 99%. Everyone will be saved and it has nothing to do with you or me.
If you call yourself a Christian, you will have been taught these false doctrines and I implore you to search a correctly translated version of the Bible, to check the truth for yourself. The truth will set you free. (John 8:31)
