Visit the wood shop in glasgow to select from a wide range of dressed hardwood boards and mantle piece beams and some live edge boards.
Dressed boards, in lengths up to 3m, mostly aroung 200mm wide, very seldom more than 300mm
Available thicknesses are around 20mm, around 28mm, 35mm, around 48mm and sometimes 75mm and 100mm
Timbers stocked are Oak, Ash, Beech, Maple, Mahogany, Cherry and Tulipwood.

Live edge boards are stocked in Oak around 22mm thick and up to about 350mm wide, 2mm engths and shorter.
Live edge boards are sometimes available in coffee table sizes.
Exotic Hardwood boards are available in African Rosewood, Tambooti and Kiaat. Some other species also available.
recommended finishes are finishing oil for medium and dark woods and Lacquer for white woods.
