Defibrillators
Lucky2BHere defibrillators are located in the community in the following places:
Kershader – on the outside wall of Ravenspoint beside the shop door.
Gravir – at the main door entrance to the school.
Cromore – on the outside wall of the house at no. 2 Cromore.
Marvig – in a portacabin on the pier, accessed via a back door.
Lemreway – on the outside wall of the house at no. 19 Lemreway
Orinsay – on the outside wall of the village hall facing the road.
The previous Community Council monitored and maintained the village defibrillators during its term in office. Since then responsibility for them lies with the villages in which they are located with the following exceptions: Gravir defibrillator is located at the school and maintained by Comhairle nan Eilean Siar; Kershader defibrillator is located at Ravenspoint Centre and maintained by Co Chomunn na Pairc.
