Apologies for their absence were recieved from The Gold Cup and The Crown.

The minutes of the 2022 AGM had been passed to the captains prior to the meeting. These were approved by the meeting.

There were no matters arising.

Secretary's Report.

What a marathon season we had. I would tell you about all the wows that befell the committee, but you would fall asleep halfway through. But we got through it all and thanks to everyone of you we produced a memorable season with an exciting finish.

Congratulations to The Wheatsheaf A team on a very successful season. You were pushed all the way by The Standard B team until they came across a pair of Lions at the end of the season.

Once again thanks to all the Captains, The Landlords, The Committee and all the players. Thanks to Dougie for hosting this evening. I hope I see you all next season. I will be in touch with a fixture list etc. and start date ASAP. We can stay as one league or go back to two divisions. Its up to you to decide.

In the meantime lets hope we have Golden Lionesses on Sunday.

Treasurer's Report.  The current bank balance is £820 - 31 excluding the subs payed this evening.

Election of Officers. All incumbant officers were re-elected. There were no additional committee elected.

Proposals from the Secreatary. That Mrs. Jean McIntyre should be invited to be a lifetime, honorary Vice President of The league. Agreed unanimously by the meeting.

A proposal to amend the count system in dominos was rejected by the meeting.

The return to two divisions was passed by the meeting, with the proviso that sixteen teams would be required. Less than sixteen we would stay as one league.

A discussion took place regarding the return of all previous knockout competitions. The secretary advised the meeting that he was not prepared to do this himself, but it was open to others to volunteer to run these. There were no takers. The final decision was that if we split back into two divisions we would have a winter regional, group competition as we have had in the past.

A further discusion took place regarding the awarding of individual prizes. It was agreed that there should be a reduction in the amount given, with the final decision resting with the committee.

The matter of reducing fees was discussed to save landlord's pockets. Landlord Dougie Hall stated that it was worth every penny and that he would recoup the £40 in extra revenue from one domino evening alone. No action on fees to take place.

There being no further business the meeting was closed by the secretary at 20 - 51.
