CQC HISTORY & RESEARCH
16 October 2011

The sharp eyed ones among you will notice that we've added a new section to the web-site - CQC History and Research.

Its something we've all been working on quietly for quite some time and is something that will bear fruit over the coming years.

I think its fair to say that when we first started in the late 1990's we weren't as clued up as some in the whole backstory/history of the lineage and context of the individuals involved.  We were just a bunch of lumps that trained to hit things...hard!

But that was then, this is now.  We've made mistakes, learned from them and moved on.

Now I am proud to say that the MCG has a nice little team of researchers/investigators (some drawn from the private investigation industry) to assist us in tracking down or confirming information related to this subject matter.  And it has yielded some surprising results.

Over the past 12 months we have participated in several lectures into various aspects of this subject, speaking to everyone from novices to combative students/instructors.

As part of this we have been lucky enough to interview dozens of the people who were there at that time and had first hand knowledge of both the training and operational aspects.

The majority of the information will be for our archives for future MCG students and instructors, but we have several publications in the pipeline as part of a deal with a local publishing company so as to get the information "out there."  We may also from time to time release on-line files which can be accessed free of charge to interested parties.

Please check back from time to time for more updates.
