Moving my hives on to Craigies Farm
Hopefully in a few weeks time I will move my hives up to Craigies Farm.
This is because I have been asked to join their environmental and educational team. In doing so I will become one of their resident beekeepers. I will help teach new beekeepers to look after thier own hives.
I hope to pass on a few of the swarms I am asked to remove from people's gardens and property this year. This will give the new beekeepers a good start and save them about £200 they would otherwise have to spend on a colony of bees.
