I've got some swarm lure and I'm not afraid to use it

I recently bought 10 small containers filled with swarm lure which is an artificial queen pheromone that attracts passing swarms of bees.

The idea is to dab some of this onto the entrance of a small purpose built box which has a few frames of foundation wax in it, this encourages the swarm to accept this as their new home.

This effectively means you have saved nearly £300 on buying a colony of bees, I hope to catch another swarm next year after I have made or bought a second hive.
