Honey is one of the richest sources of energy on the planet.

Honey is not only used as food but it is one of the best medicines, especially helpful in treating severe burns as bacteria can't grow in honey.

Humans have had a fascination with honey since early caveman discovered the sweet sticky liquid. Cave paintings have been found showing man collecting honey from wild honey bees, the reward were clearly worth the risk of receiving a sting or two.

The remains of honey has been found on the insides of clay pots next to human remains of the Aztec, it is believed honey was buried with the dead to help the departed in his or her journey into the afterlife.
