Can you make a difference?by Unknown - 16:08 on 11 September 2008A colleague at work stated that you can't give to the poor because the monies never reach them. Rather it gets syphoned off by unscrupulous intermediaries. My response was that it depends on how and who you give to, but that it sounded like a cop-out to not give at all.
