Map of Learners - Where they come from
Over the years I have had the pleasure of teaching many learners, from complete beginners to near-fluent users of English, and from four- and five-year-olds to late sixty-year-olds.
Some have proved to have been challenging, and others most enjoyable, but all have been interesting. As I a teacher, I have learned much from my students, and continue to do so!
Here is a map showiing the many countries they come from:
Is your nation listed? If not, please tell me!
I am a Cambridge Dip TESOL qualified teacher, with experience in delivering teacher-training workshops, student cultural presentations, tours, and talks.
I have wide experience in teaching young learners, English for Academic Purposes, Business English, holiday English, Examination English TOEFL, IELTS, and Cambridge PET & FCE, and the SATS test.
I have devised a primary school syllabus for six year-levels for the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority, a summer course curriculum, and currently I am adapting material for use with the interactive whiteboard.
I currently teaching English in state secondary and private(public) schools. I have managed and taught international students at large summer school in Malvern, Worcestershire, and for the past two summers coordinated the activities at five summer centres spread across Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire.
I am always open to new ideas and opportunities, both here and overseas, so please contact me.
