The 'Team' are happy to provde you with a FREE Home Security Visit & Survey - Ask at the Consultations or contact them at any time.
Bogus Callers Call Anytime
Bogus callers are people gaining entry to homes by deception - They may say they are investigating a Gas or Water leak (wanting to check your water pipes for instance which the water company never does) - They may say they are the Council or someone else that you trust
Sometimes they work alone & sometimes in pairs - They may distract you once inside - Or even gain entry from the back while you are at the front - They may say they have seen something in the back to distract you.
Please remember - Anyone who is bone-fide will have correct identity - Make sure you ask for it - If they don't have it or are unwilling to let you look at it properly - They are probably not who they seem - Don't Let Them In.
A genuine representative will happily wait while you shut the door & phone their organisation to verify their details - Please remember not to use any phone number they provide - Look it up yourself to be sure!
If In Doubt - Keep Them Out!

Snoopers Are Rubbish
From time to time reports of suspicious characters going through rubbish & letters in our area are received - Identity theft is on the increase so please shred your documents (shredders are cheaply available & an effective way to keep personal details - safe)
The shredded paper makes a great addition in layers to your compost bins
So before you 'put it out' check that all details are shredded before they go in!
Parcel Scammers
A card is posted through your door from PDS - Parcel Delivery Service saying they couldn't deliver a parcel & to contact them on 0906 6611911 (a premium rate number) - Do not call - If you do & start to hear a recorded message you will have been billed £15!
If you receive a card like this please contact Royal Mail Fraud - 02072396655 or ICTIS www.icstis.org.uk (premium-rate regulator)
Dangerous Dogs
There were in the recent past a number of reported incidents of dangerous dogs - some involving cats being mauled very seriously with some killed - Others of dogs being used in a threatening manner against residents.
Our Police team took this very seriously - Urging anyone with information on incidents of this type to contact them immediately which they did & no further incidents have been reported
If there is an incident of this kind please let the 'Team' know - Thank You
