A guitarist was asked tp play @ a funeral and agreed so to do.

On arrival he was guided into leaving his guitar in the church vestry while they went to lunch after which the brother of the deceased ordered a taxi to take the guitarist to an address - fictitious. The muso smelt a rat and asked the taxi driver to change route to the church.

Re-arriving @ said edifice, the guitarist discovered no funeral, no people and NO Guitar. This elaborate scam probably uses far more ergs than if the "bereaved" brother was doing a propre job - and he still has the task of selling it.
