This robust Bus Shelter stands outside Sonning Cricket Club's ground in Wokingham Borough. Useful, although I had been to nearby Reading C.C.s ground for a County match which had been abandoned because of heavy rain. I took the photos on 35 mm film whilst waiting for the bus back to Wokingham Town. The shelter kept me dry for 20 minutes or so! |

The Brass Band rehearsed twice weekly , Mondays & Thursdays most of the year and I began in 1957 on cornet. The building was demolished last year. |
