After a very successful Ground Hoppers day at football when attendance was boosted fourfold for one day, I thought that struggling market traders could benefit from a more regionalised version for people who would like to notch up a visit to every market in a county or Region.

This, I have put to The Federation of Small Businesses, the Musicians' Union and the representative organisation for Market Traders also The Town Council of Wokingham, Berkshire.

As yet, there is no positive feedback.

Traders would have to be arranged for a specific date and then the idea should be circulated to the shopping public. This could also boost interest on "quiet" days at market.
