Across the World, Markets are still very much in existence. Some towns in U.K. have markets with charters going back to the 14th century. On mainland Europe, the tradition continues and we are following the upgrades in standards.
However, we need to increase the trade to keep the system viable because, in towns across the country, traders are suffering financially. One trader sold nothing one week and one item the next in our Market, Wokingham. A new trader arrived one day recently and sold very little. He never returned. I feel that I should be more creative in Public relations and publicity but I shall require adequate support.
