It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my Mother this morning!  She fought thyroid cancer for over a year and passed away peacefully early today!  I am pleased that she was at least spared the great pain that can come with this horrible complaint.  She was born in 1927 and was 2 months short of her 87th birthday!
