BBCA ECF Rated Rapid Chess Tournament
British Bangla Chess Association (BBCA) are proudly organizing an ECF
Rated Rapid chess tournament on from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
The Tournament is open to all chess players.
Tournament Venue:
Micro Business Park Hall, 50B Greatorex Street, London. E1 5NP
Nearest Tube: Whitechapel, Aldgate East and Aldgate.
Time Control: 10 minutes per player with a 5 second increment per move.
Format: 6 rounds Swiss tournament.
OPEN & MAJOR SECTIONS
Open Section is open to all players and Major section is only for players on or below ECF 1600 rating.
Entry Fee: This is £15 per player for either section Open or Major.
£10 for paid up members of BBCA. It is important that a player is a member of the ECF at the minimum of Silver level. If this is not the case ie. A player is a non member or just a Bronze level member then a surcharge of £10 will be levied.
Please deposit or transfer your entry fee to British Bangla Chess Association at Lloyds Bank sort code:30-92-90 A/C No:34578668 on or before Wednesday 24th April by writing first and last names as payment reference.
You may pay cash entry fee to BBCA president Mazed Biswas or Organising Secretary Ashraf Nannu on Sundays at the club until Sunday 25th February.
Paid Up Members of the BCCA can take a £5 discount on the Entry Fee of £15 as stated above.

To complete the entry process, all players must send their first and last
name, mobile number, ECF membership code and ECF rating (if available) or an estimate of their ECF rating.
A cash payment of £20 will be accepted on the day of the event, as entry fee, if any places are still available. The £10 surcharge will still apply, as above!
As we have only 50 places to offer, we will follow a First Come First Served policy.
Prizes:
Open Section: 1st Prize £60, 2nd Prize £40
Major Section: 1st Prize £60, 2nd Prize £40
There will be rating prizes of £25 for Under 1800 and Under 1400.
If results are tied, prizes will be shared equally.
FIDE Arbiter: Mr. Mohammad Rezaul Islam
FIDE Rapid-Play rules will be applied. In any dispute, the Arbiter’s decision is final.
Time: Registration at 10:00am. Clock Starts: 10:30am.
