Today I was kicked off my workfare placement at Tenovus because of my previous comments on this blog.
05 November 2015

A few days ago I received a voice mail from Learn About informing me that I had a meeting with the area manager of Tenovus "Sue Hayes" on thursday in Llanishen and I would be picked up from the Tenovus shop in Whitchurch road on thursday by Jason who would also be attending.  I have just attended that meeting and the outcome is that Sue Hayes has ended my placement during my thirteenth week based on my previous comments I made on this blog.  She had the previous comments from my blog all printed out and made the point that she had ended her investigation into my complaint against Lloyds bullying and I had made a comment stating that I still had not given up on my complaint against Lloyd.  Sue Hayes was accompanied by Katie who was also in attendance during our recent meeting to discuss my complaint.   They both made comments regarding the idea that they want everyone who is a volunteer to be happy at Tenovus.  Jason also changed his approach and while he sounded like he was on my side in the car after he had been reading the printed comments from my blog he started supporting Sue Hayes.  He even made a statement regarding my promise at the previous meeting which he got wrong but it was a case of three people singing from the same hymn sheet while the victim, I think of myself as the victim as I was a good worker who just got on with the work I was given and ended up being kicked out of a placement because I was bullied by Lloyd and had the courage to report it and mention it online.  Sue Hayes and Katie used the word "happy" repeatedly to describe how they feel all their volunteers must feel if they wanted to continue being at Tenovus.

I got on with everyone except Lloyd but I still remained polite to him throughout my time at Tenovus.  The idea that people forced to work six months for nothing either through "Learn About" or the"Jobcentre" must be happy to be at Tenovus is absurd.   It appears that my honesty is something Tenovus can't stand.  They hate the idea that they could be found to be taking advantage of the unemployed through workfare.  I was going along doing my workfare but I wasn't prepared to say that I was happy and that appears to be the reason that they kicked me off my placement and of course the fact that I mentioned that I had not given up on my complaint against Lloyd.

The people who run Tenovus are on very good salaries while most of the work is done by volunteers and workfare slaves who have to say they are happy working for nothing to remain with them.  I think they should drop the word "care" from their title.

I spent a while speaking to Jason and he assures me that everything is fine on the benefit front and Learn About will try to find me another placement for me to complete my twenty six weeks of workfare.  They will contact me to let me know when next to attend Learn About in Newport or any placement that they manage to find for me.  I will report back on here what Learn About manage to find for me.
