Last week when I attended the Charles St Jobcentre in Cardiff to see my work coach she showed me a list of sessions that the Jobcentre have created to get people ready for the 35 hours a week jobsearch that we will be doing when Universal Credit is brought in.  It looks like I will end up attending them all eventually and the session I have been booked on first is called "Social Media".  They intend to make our 35 hours a week jobsearch cover all kinds of sites even though it really is just another way of stressing out jobseekers in the hope that they sign off.  I will attend all courses put my way and endure the sixty to ninety minutes that the Social Media session is supposed to last.  I understand that the session will be in a room on the ground floor where they have around twelve computers.  I will go along and observe how the other jobseekers cope with it.  I will listen and take it all in but because of my experience of sessions held at the Jobcentre, I don't expect to learn anything but you never know. 

I would like to thank everyone for comments regarding this website.  It had been getting very quiet with very little happening at the Jobcentre and suddenly these sessions come along.   I will report back on here how the session goes.
