As my signing day fell on the 1st January I didn't have to attend the Charles St Jobcentre in Cardiff. Over the last two weeks I was able to find and apply for nine jobs. I have completed my Work Plan booklet for the fortnight and hopefully when I attend in two weeks time it will be deemed good enough. Now we are into 2015 I expect that I should be able to find at least a dozen jobs to apply for during this fortnight. I did go on my UJM page everyday and at least put a note in the activity box regarding jobsearch if I couldn't find a job to apply for. As we all know it is very unlikely any employer would post new vacancies on christmas day but I like to cover myself, just in case I end up facing someone in the Jobcentre who just wants to be nasty and find any excuse to hand out a sanction.
