It's hard to believe that they are all genuine. 30 June 2014 I'm sure most people who log in to their UJM account find it hard to believe that all the so called recruitment agencies posting loads of jobs on a daily basis are genuine. I find it hard to believe as some of the names of these companies are ridiculous. They also post the same job title for many different towns and a dozen or so new jobs have suddenly become available. I have recently received my email from Cardiff Council containing all the new job vacancies and I noticed that a vacancy for a benefit trainee has appeared and it is stated that the job is for someone who is unemployed. I will apply for this vacancy and as usual they won't even interview me. It used to be said that the Council usually knew who they were going to employ before they even interviewed anyone and from my experience I can well believe it. Although these kind of vacancies only last a year or so they do pay better than the minimum wage. If I remember rightly I think this particular benefit trainee vacancy has a 14k salary. At least it is easy to apply online and it's another job I can record on my UJM page. | ![]() |
