Yesterday when I attended the Jobcentre my advisor Steve didn't accept that no real jobs are posted on christmas day and other bank holidays. I mentioned to him that I even went online on christmas day to look at the fake jobs that had been posted that day. He questioned whether they were fake. Does anyone really believe that hundreds of jobs posted on christmas day are real jobs? If we multiply them up for the whole country then many thousands of employers are working christmas morning. We have all seen the lists of jobs advertised by the so called cv warehouse. In my experience all the jobs advertised by Adzuna lead to the fish4jobs website. I've noticed recently many jobs advertised by JSA jobs and the job is usually something like "packer wanted for market research or betting office cashier wanted for market research." Today I noticed a company called CVBrowser Ltd advertising jobs but they all lead to a link and it just seems to be people looking to obtain our CVs and all the information they contain. I have more faith in the well known employment agencies that advertise on UJM such as Brookstreet, Hays and Acorn. When people attend a Jobcentre they should expect the staff to behave in a decent and honest manner but from my experience and I just noticed that I used the word "But" a couple of times we are forced to take what the Jobcentre staff say and not respond in a way that might lead to receiving a sanction. I mentioned yesterday that my advisor Steve mentioned that I had used the word "But" as if I was making excuses. I don't make excuses, I live in the real world and when someone in some kind of authority tries to fill my head with garbage then I stand up for myself. Of course we all know that some staff in Jobcentres are talking garbage so that they tow the DWP line and keep their jobs. The worst thing is that some of them actually enjoy bullying claimants and thankfully they are still a minority as most of them are decent people.
