I noticed on the government website that JSA due to be paid on tuesday 24th december is to be paid on monday 23rd december. I guess it's fair as the shops should still have a good choice on their shelves two days before christmas. It would have been great to have had everything sorted out earlier but it's better than rushing around on christmas eve. Because of the tough stance Jobcentreplus are taking these days it's important that no one ignores jobsearch over the christmas period. You never know who you are going to see when you attend for your fortnightly signing after christmas so make sure you make at least the minimum number of activity efforts required of you.
