The other day I received a message on my landline phone informing me that my appointment with my personal advisor at the Jobcentre had been cancelled and to attend on Thursday at my normal signing time when I would be given a new appointment to see my advisor. Yesterday I received in the post a letter reminding me to sign as normal and giving me a new date for my appointment to see my personal advisor and that is for 7th November in two weeks time on my usual signing day. Today I went to Charles St Jobcentre in Cardiff and at the entrance only one security guard was present and he didn't approach me so I just walked in and went to the first floor to sign. At the reception desk on the first floor was a member of staff and two security guards and after showing my signing card I was told where to go and wait to be called. The woman who signed me had not seen me before and asked me for some sort of identification and as I didn't have any on me I ended up telling her my date of birth and postcode. She suggested next time to bring a bank card with my name signed on the back or a driving licence. Last night I had ticked the box on my UJM account to allow access and although I had my paper copy of my efforts over the fortnight she had a look on my UJM account. I was allowed to sign and she reminded me of my personal advisor appointment in two weeks time. I'm still unsure about how much access the Jobcentre have with UJM accounts. I remember my personal advisor saying she could see my UJM account without my permission and two weeks ago the woman signing me asked for my email address so she could get into my UJM account. Today I wasn't asked for an email address or anything and she had access. Although I ticked the box last night to give access even I can't access my UJM account without logging in but she could. It's possible that two weeks ago when I gave my email address it was left on my records. Then again the comments made by my personal advisor were said with a lot of confidence regarding her ability to access my UJM account. In two weeks time I will probably if asked show a bank card if it is just for a quick look although that will only have a name but no address on it although it will give a small version of my signature on the back.< Sometimes my signature doesn't look anything like it should as I try to make sure it fits into the allocated box on the signing paper./p>
