Another dose of bullying on tuesday?
27 July 2013

On tuesday I have my second meeting with my personal advisor at the Charles St Jobcentre in Cardiff since I completed two years on the Work Programme. At the first meeting she attempted to bully me even though a member of staff was sitting in on the appointment. It will be interesting to see what happens on tuesday and if it does continue then I will email my Member of Parliament as soon as I get home. I was aware that I was being given false information but it's best to tread carefully before going full steam ahead down the complaints path. Obviously the advisors are only doing what they are told so complaining to a manager responsible for that part of the Jobcentre would be pointless although for some it might at least make them feel better. I would rather go much higher even if at the end you get fobbed off by the general manager for the region. I would even name and shame the individuals concerned all over the internet. Any accusations I make would be true so let them sue and as I don't have anything of any value or much in the bank I won't be risking much financially. It will be interesting to find out what session I will be attending next. So far I have completed a session on interviews although I have been through those kind of sessions countless times on New Deal. The other session I completed was on voluntary work although none of the eleven in the room looked interested but at least they were polite and asked a few questions. At least the sessions will help make up our quota of activities we have to complete every week. The voluntary work session only lasted half an hour and I felt sorry for the people who had to travel in just for that. I can walk to the Jobcentre in less than twenty five minutes so it doesn't really affect me.
