Any point in requesting feedback? 24 April 2013 I'm due to attend the Charles St Jobcentre tomorrow for my fortnightly signing and thought I would just look on the Universal Jobmatch site for any new vacancies. Although I have applied for ten jobs during the last fortnight, five of those were through Universal Jobmatch. Most of the jobs I apply for tend to be by sending my CV by way of my email account. I had a look at my application history and noticed that it had recorded 23 jobs applied for by sending my CV by way of Universal Jobmatch over the last few months. I went through the list and found that 19 of those 23 had the word received next to them and only 4 out of the 23 had actually viewed my CV. If those were real jobs, only 17% of the employers bothered to look at my CV. It would be interesting to know if this is the norm or maybe someone else has a good number of employers actually viewing their CV. When I say view of course I mean in response to a person sending a CV through Universal Jobmatch and not by just allowing people to look at them. I have my CV set to private and only allow employers to view it via Universal Jobmatch applications. | ![]() ![]() ![]() |
