When I was last at Working Links and the consultant said that he would send my confirmation letter of my next appointment in the post I did feel that it would be forgotten about but I didn't think that he would forget twice. I waited all week but no letter arrived so I phoned Working Links on the friday and was told that he was in a meeting so I decided to phone up this monday just gone. I was put through to him on monday and he told me that he would put the letter in the post but sadly it is now saturday and still no confirmation. He did tell me when I was at Working Links that it would be two weeks later on tuesday so I will go in and just hope he doesn't decide that it was a different day. You would expect these people to have some way of recording what they have to do before they go home that day and not rely solely on memory but surely when you tell someone for the second time you are going to do something then no excuses are good enough. I hope on tuesday that I am given confirmation of my next appointment on paper because my confidence and trust in these people is diminishing fast. The consultant also mentioned that he would send me an application form for a particular job so I guess that has been shelved. At least I have applied for six jobs in the last week.
