Another routine appointment
26 February 2013
I have just come back from my fortnightly appointment at Working Links with some details of two jobs to apply for and my next appointment date for two weeks time. It will soon be june and the completion of my two years on the Work Programme and it doesn't look like I will be employed before my time ends. At least I don't have to worry about the bedroom tax as I live in a one bedroom flat. Although I have had a noisy neighbour for the last few years and he keeps putting a bass sound on so the window frames vibrate and my landline phone and other objects vibrate on my coffee table. It really is worrying when the window frames make grunting noises as if the bolts holding them in place are vibrating and eventually will loosen. After contacting the Council and finding out that my neighbour was ignoring any contact with them I decided to confront him yesterday and after telling him that I had contacted the Council about his behaviour he accused me of grassing him up. I'm just ranting on for now as my work programme experience is lacking in any productive information for other claimants but when my two years are up I will at least be able to let everyone know what to expect when they eventually leave the Work Programme.
