I attended my appointment this morning for the first time since they moved the computers around and it looked like they had a lot more computers in the office than before. The consultant spoke to me for a few minutes and then gave me my next appointment for two weeks time. He said that I could go but i decided to do half an hour of jobsearch. As I usually attend once a week I was a bit surprised my next appointment is two weeks time although I am quite happy about it. They might be considering parking me as a no hoper but I guess they know I apply for plenty of jobs so maybe they realise they can't do much for me. With all those computers they must be expecting a big rise in people joining the work programme as it definitely looked a bit cramped compared to the past when I have attended. I wouldn't mind one of those christmas jobs at Marks and Spencers, they might only be for three months but imagine working nights at their store in the centre of Cardiff,putting goods on the shop floor ready for the next day. Although it would mean working nights, the pay rates are good for night work and when the contract ends you would be straight back on benefits with some recent work experience behind you and a bit of extra cash in the bank. You can imagine an almost relaxing state just putting goods on display with no real pressure and a peaceful atmosphere.
