Now that I have reached state pension age, Labour decide to scrap the payment. Pension credit is only three pound less than state pension so after receiving the winter fuel payment someone on pension credit will be fifty pound a year better off than someone receiving the state pension. What is the point of making the qualifying years for the state pension only to be worse off.
