Still on legacy benefits and surviving on £74 a week. It's better than nothing. Of course the government didn't want to give everyone on universal credit the extra twenty pound a week but to avoid mass protests they had no option. It shows they realised how difficult it would have been for people to survive on £74 a week. They don't care enough to help people on legacy benefits but that's the Tories for you. Even worse is the leader of the Labour party who has not asked a single question regarding the unfairness of it. Labour under Keir Starmer are after the middle class vote and will probably lose more seats at the next election. People ignored during a pandemic won't forget for a long time.
