A couple of days...by Simon - 21:38 on 05 August 2008Its been a few days since I have made an entry on the blog even knowing that R would be keen to start cracking the whip. There is a good reason for this as I drove all day Thursday and Friday it had been quite uneventful nothing much to rant about and I don't want the blog to sound like a diary!! Had some problems finding a parking place on thursday night pulled into 3 truck stops all spaces taken, eventually I did come across a rest area on the I 74 near Cincinnati where I could stop for a rest. Same problem on the Friday night ,definate lack of any pull of areas on hwy 64 East after Raleigh NC. Very hot and sticky the last 2 days and looking forward to a break, this pale blue scotsman loves the heat but I am as much use as an ashtray on a motor bike when I am subjected to it. Booked into the holiday express in Plymouth nice hotel put the air con on full blast and chilled in all meanings of the word..till monday morning aaah bliss that's my idea of work only thing missing was a nice woman to bring me drinks and stuff!
