A hot weekend!by Simon - 18:25 on 28 July 2008After collecting my load from Behlen industries in Brandon mb on friday night. 443 miles to North Battleford for delivery on Monday morning it would be tight to get there but if I run hard I might just make it! decided to have 36 hour reset in Saskatoon maybe even a beer or 2 but more importantly a round of golf somewhere.
Parked up at the flying J in saskatoon, desperately needed a shower, even though I have to pay for it its still worth it $8.50 towels included. Met up with another driver Carl from Thunder bay in ON on his way to Hardisty with oil stuff. Did some shopping on the Sunday replaced my 12v cooler that gave up the ghost a month or 2 ago definately a must in this job. A quick wander around sams club (walmart) for some healthy food for a change. There are a number of golf courses in saskatoon but I decided that I, for some reason only had the energy to go to the driving range and hit a few balls, must of been something to do with the heat well I was feeling very hot this late sunday afternoon anyway!!
