I am saddened to report that we received news today that Margaret Corbett has died.

Margaret, sister of Betty Johnstone and husband of Bill Corbett was a long time member of the club and played a full and active part of our bowling fraternity. Sadly, the passage of years and the onset of her final illness meant that she had not been able to attend the club for the past few years. The service of the Corbett and Johnstone families to our club can not be overstressed and her passing sees the end of a bowling dynasty which has been an integral part of the club for over fifty years.

Our sympathies are expressed to her immediate family and to the family of Jim & Betty. You were truly blessed to have had parents/grand parents such as those who have now all passed on. The club members have missed them all but they shall always be fondly remembered.

Margaret's funeral will be held at Hamilton Crematorium next Tuesday, (28th) at 11.00am.
