It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Ann died in hospital this morning after being admitted only yesterday. Although she had been ill for some time she tried as far as possible to maintain her normal lifestyle, and only last week she attended a ladies social evening.

She was among a group of employees at Inver House who joined the club in 1982, soon to be joined here by her husband John. They made the perfect couple on and off the green and were loved by everyone. She was virtually a permanent fixture at the club,  attending almost every event staged by and for the members throughout her years of membership. I know I speak for all when I  convey our thoughts and great sadness to her family and her sister Alison. She will be so sadly missed but we are all the better for having known her and for having shared her life, her love and her friendship.
