The top team were at Houldsworth this afternoon in the semi-final of the Cup competition where they played against Castlehill BC. Our boys continued with their successful run and won by 5 points to 1. The final of this competition will be played against Bellshill & Mossend at Dalziel BC next Sunday afternoon. A good support would be much appreciated by the players to hopefully cheer our favourites on to what would be a first ever victory in this competition.

The hectic challenge of playing almost every day in the past week, and sometimes twice a day to try and fit in his committments, finally took it's toll on Jim Purves on Sunday evening when he lost in the Champion of Champions competition.
