 Bowling News

The Seniors continued with a full points win against Calderbank at home in the league, but the Fours rink lost a closely fought semi final in the SBA Championships, going down by 16-15 against Glengowan.

The Gents league game played at home against Glenmavis had a successful conclusion with a 6-3 win. This result leaves us well clear at the top of the league as our closest challengers lost their game. We have three more games to go, all of them expected to be tough ones against Calderbank, Airdrie & Glengowan.

The Millennium singles competition got off to a great start with a 4-1 win away to Garrowhill last Sunday.

The Monklands Cup was played on Friday evening but we had a mixed result, winning two games and losing the other two. Better luck next year.

The ladies had a night off in their league campaign but results elsewhere mean that we are well out of contention, even with excellent results in their last three games.
