There is more to Ben Nevis than the “Tourist Route” If you look at the shape of the mountain, it reveals it’s self as a complex massif, and it best seen from the Carn Mor Dearg Arête.

Come and see for yourselves, the huge North East cliff faces of “The Ben” some of the highest in the United Kingdom, these cliffs have been explored, down through the ages by mountaineers form all over the world, come and join me in one of the most scenic treks in the Highlands.

The Carn Mor Dearg Arête and on to Ben Nevis.

Pinnacle Buttress of Creag Meagaidh, a magnificent sight on the walk in to the mountain, this is a long but pleasant walk on great paths that have been newly renovated, a glorious way to knock off three of Scotland's Munro's in remote setting

Moving further North we come to another mountain that has been adopted by the people of Inverness as "Their Ben" by this I mean "Ben Wyvis" a popular mountain  with locals. Although not difficult, it has views that are unsurpassed in that particular area, on a good day you might see from Coast to Coast.

A visit to Scotland's mountains should, if possible, include a trip to Glencoe, "The Glen" has something to offer everyone, a spectacular place with mountains that seem to spring straight out of the ground, hidden valley's, the scene of many a good film such as "Highlander & Braveheart, to mention just two, The Buachaille Etive Mor, will leave you with memories that will last for a long time
