Trips to Ben Nevis
If you wish to take a trip to "The Ben" I can offer a few ways of ascent for the modern Hillwalker / Scrambler
- There is the Tourist Route that will take you on average 8 hours, Ben Nevis has a chequered history from the early mountaineering days, there's history of the summit observatory and hotel now all but a ruin, to the modern exploits of athletic rock and ice climbers.
- The other route on offer is the Carn Mor Dearg Arete route, this is an interesting but slightly more technical and strenuous way to the summit, it will normally take about an hour or maybe two, longer than the "Tourist Route", with views that cannot be equalled anywhere in the UK.
- And For the Climbers / Scramblers, The famous Tower Ridge or if weather does not permit, Ledge Route is a great alternative
The Tours include transport from Inverness and return, or I will meet you in Fort William at a designated spot.
Cost will be by arrangement
