Grades
Hopefully this will help you to understand the nature of the trek that you may want to undertake, these grades will give a general idea of what the day could be like.
Fairly straight forward hillwalks, up to 6 hours, normally on paths and good terrain.
Hillwalks of between 6-8 hours occasionally with no paths and some rough terrain.
Strenuous walks of over 8-10 hours, continuously over 900m, with rough terrain.
Very strenuous walks of between 9-11 hours. sometimes involving the use of hands, little or no paths and on rough terrain, a truly wilderness experience.
